The performers slated to appear on the Wetaskiwin Co-op Community Stage keep on adding up. Local singer-songwriter Megan Gregg has confirmed that she will perform alongside Dean Pezderic, a local guitarist, at the Inaugeral Wetaskiwin Festival of Arts and Agriculture.
Acoustic-folk singer/songwriter Megan Gregg’s roots originate in BC, but has had her feet firmly planted in Alberta for the past ten years. Megan’s songwriting originates and resonates from the soul of the self – songs that express depth and life. Her vocal range effortlessly ascends folk music’s emotive moments and slides to the low-down, silky sounds of the blues. She delights and draws in her audiences with her unique vocal and emotional interpretation of her original songs and those of other artists.
Megan and Dean Pezderic, a local guitar player and singer with a long history in the music industry, met three years ago and have been sharing their love of music with various audiences in the area ever since. They are currently working on Megan’s debut album and are looking forward to sharing some of their new material this fall!
